Bullying blast for McDonald's in wage rumpus

Shame on Mcdonalds! They have already begun to punish the weak for improved labour laws.

McDonald's has become embroiled in the minimum wage row following a complaint that a handicapped worker was asked to work fewer hours.

A caller to an RTHK program said although the hourly wage of her mildly mentally handicapped son is HK$28, his working hours were cut from four to 1 hours a day after the minimum wage was introduced on Sunday.

"He only worked for an hour and a half and then was asked to leave," she said................
