An exhaustive, comprehensive study was commissioned by the UK govt on the impact of immigration before and after Brexit. They appear to be reluctant to release the findings, here they are;

New analysis by the Centre for Economic Performance

A reduction in immigration from the European Union (EU) following a vote for Brexit would not lead to any improvement in living standards for those born in the UK. Cuts in EU immigration would not offset the big fall in UK living standards caused by the reduction in trade and investment that would result from Brexit. 

The researchers highlight the empirical evidence showing conclusively that EU immigration has not had significantly adverse effects on average employment, wages, inequality or public services at the local level for people born in the UK. Falls in average real wages of UK-born workers are more closely associated with the biggest economic crash for more than 80 years. 

Our new evidence shows that the areas of the UK with large increases in EU immigration did not suffer greater falls in the jobs and pay of UK-born workers. The big falls in wages after 2008 are due to the global financial crisis and a weak economic recovery, not to immigration. 

There is also little effect of EU immigration on inequality through reducing the pay and jobs of less skilled UK workers. Changes in wages and joblessness for less skilled UK-born workers show little correlation with changes in EU immigration. 

EU immigrants pay more in taxes than they use public services and therefore they help to reduce the budget deficit. Immigrants do not have a negative effect on local services such as education, health or social housing; nor do they have any effect on social instability as indicated by crime rates.

End of Empire.

The British budget today is Nero  fiddling whilst Rome burns! The British Empire died 70 years ago, as it should have, as all empires hopefully have.We have taken years to deal with that, and as previous generations who fought in the world wars not for the empire but for peace and freedom have left us, the generations they left behind are intent on destroying our nation completely by insisting that we are still an empire, still Great. We are not Great, we are not special, there are many nations that have overtaken us, that have found their place in the modern world. Our chance at working together with our neighbours is slipping away, our chance to still hold our own in a a much bigger world. The idea that nations are lining up to make deals with us was always ridiculous, we are now a joke and the vultures are circling. This budget has laid clear how our obstinance and self importance will now run us into the ground, how Rule Brittania will make us a second rate and poor, pitiful nation. Those that pedalled the lies, those that promised what they knew to be untrue, those are the traitors, those should be tried for treason.
Those in great power must ensure that those below them remain in great unrest and upheaval and always believe that an 'enemy' has taken away an imaginary period of wealth and stability. Make the people believe that others are responsible , as long as those in great power continue to have great power.

2017. The world we live in is a scary place, and if you believe that foreign powers have not embraced both technology, and social media to infiltrate the west then you are a fool,  just watch Trump and Farage and know that they succeeded, they have divided the US, they have divided the UK from Europe. They have in effect divided the Allies, NATO and the UN. When our children suffer through foreign aggression it will be our fault.

Are we oppressed?

When we look back at history, people have always been oppressed, it (is)was normal. Even today most nations continue to oppress their people, we choose to ignore it. The freedom we had in the west seems to have been a mirage, a blip in history. For those of us growing up in post war Britain, where conscription ended, and also  capital punishment, where workers' rights were fought for and won, where freedom of religion, sexuality and speech became human rights, where gender equality was strived for, and racism was apparently going to be a thing of the past. That 'window of time' when nationalism was a dirty word.

Was it all just a dream, were we lulled into a false sense of hope, of liberalism, of enlightenment? Is the reality, is the norm, oppression and a shift of power and money only to the rich?

At which point have all the cultures and societies before us realised they were oppressed? The ones who were violently and suddenly oppressed and enslaved are under no illusions, but almost every society in history was eventually oppressed if not enslaved.

My question is....At what point does a society realise it is oppressed?

My answer is..... Probably too late!

Face up to reality

Big Brother, The Only Way is Essex, Love Island, and all of the fucking 'reality' shows are slowly destroying our culture. The people in these things are not real, but they are held up to our youth as the way to success. Take the men, none of them have body hair, or spots, or moles, or bellies, and not a brain between them, just psychopaths, sociopaths and narcissists. The women are even worse. Go to any British pub or club and everyone has an alien orange glow, weird fucking hair, and the most awful fucking clothes, a country of plastic Barbies and Kens and that is the adults, what has this done to teenagers? Vajazzles, boob jobs, fake tan, and affected speech, and the belief that it's normal to be rude and stupid, and to insult and bully those that aren't. This disease has made it to the core of society, and that narcissism has led to a belief that British people are better than others and a dislike of anybody foreign or anybody normal. It is a disease that has affected the core of Britishness, of course not only Britain, but its effects have become mainstream in British culture. Is your child, grandchild being bullied in school because they don't conform to what the TV tells them to do? Do you and your kids spend every evening watching this shite, and EastEnders and Coronation Street? That is what Britain is teaching its youth, the future generations. I spit on your culture, it disgusts me, it shames me, it doesn't make me proud to be British. What happened to our moral compass, our politeness, our stiff upper lip, our pride? The answer is in the TV schedules.

The bottom line; The British election system is a 'first past the post' system(We voted against proportional representation just a few years ago in 2011). A winning government must have 51% of the seats, the Tories don't. 58, yes 58% of voters voted against the Tories.
That is not a victory.
Resign and call a new election.
Do the right and decent thing. You have not won under the rules of our parliamentary system.

The real meaning of patriotism.

Time for the fightback; What are British values? To care for those less able and less well off than you, to accept other peoples, to respect our neighbours at home and abroad and to offer assistance to those in need. To be honest and fair, not to lie or be boastful or nationalistic, to have a fair and open government that rules for the good of the people and with the tacit permission of the people. We don't hate, we are inherently a generous practical people who sometimes naively have shared our values and ideals with others in the hope that by example(and in the past through coercion, thankfully the past) others will follow. We have been free for a thousand years, we have not suffered slavery or oppression during that time, we have suffered but we were not owned and those inflicting great suffering did so in isolation and were soon stopped. We began the industrial Revolution, we began with labour laws that are today the norm. We have a proud history mostly but not completely guilt free. The time for hate has passed, the turmoil that is coming will teach us that hate only leads to sorrow, ask our neighbours, they have already been there.
After the dust has settled there is only one way forward and that is tolerance, respect, peace, love and cooperation with each other and the world regardless of colour or creed or anything else as long as we get the same respect back. The way to defeat hate is to lead by example, to shun those that espouse violence, hate and intolerance, not only from outside but also from within. Today, this year is not the end of the 'liberal' story, it is a lesson of what happens when you turn away from humanity and human values, there is only an empty shell remaining, an empty scary world for our children and grandchildren, but we are better than that, we are stronger than that. Forward we will march as a nation and as a planet. That is patriotism, the desire for a loving encompassing society and world.

Politically correct

Being 'politically correct' means not insulting women, people of a different colour, religion  or sexuality or physical or mental ability, or nationality.
Not being able to discuss differences in religion or gender sensibly without malice  is curbing free speech and understanding.
We don't need to discuss most of these differences, they are just differences. Those differences that we have a choice about, such as religion should be freely discussed...without hate or an intent to create hate.
There is no free speech when it comes to most of the 'politically correctness' and rightly so. For the same reason you can't call a woman the b word or the w word and you can't call a disabled person the s word or a gay person the q word we can't use the n word. It is not fucking rocket science!
In today's world we must stand taller against this shit, we are not cowed, we are not beaten, we will fight this shit forever.....you know why? Because we are right!

A rose is still a Brexit by any other name.

A rose is still a rose....It just occurred to me... Will the Tories pull off the biggest con in political history and leave Europe in only name? The referendum only asked if the UK should leave the UK, not about the details, so the negotiations may go along the lines of; ok we will leave but nothing will change, we retain a seat we agree to free movement, we will follow EU laws and have access to markets....but we will leave.  There is indeed a way out of this mess. #Brexit is only Brexit by name. Watch this space!

The future

It becomes more difficult every day not to become anti Muslim, yet this is the time that  European values have to remain strong and steadfast, immovable in our belief in the rights of others to practice their religion, our belief in diversity and multi culturalism. We have to believe that tarring a race, religion, sexuality or even gender with the same brush is harmful and against our values. If we begin a purge, or to punish whole religions and races for the crimes of the few, then we are truly losing the war, we are giving them what they want.
Yet, we do need to protect the innocent people from the violence that is growing. We have to ask some very tough questions about why France continues to be targeted and how it is being targeted. It is safe to assume that their intelligence agencies are not up to the job, at this time European security agencies need to come together, possibly even a Europe wide security agency. Yes, mosques must be closely monitored and Islamic schools strictly limited.
Yes, Western values, European values must be followed and insisted upon. No restrictions on dress, on food, Sharia Law must be stamped out if found in Europe, FGM must be stopped, and travel to radical countries possibly stopped completely, and of course and sadly the state must be allowed to electronically spy on its citizens, at least for those under any suspicion of radicalism or terrorism.
We all must lose some freedoms, as is the case during any war, we must win, we must keep our values. All of the above also applies to right wing nationalist groups, all hate speech, all radicalism must be fought. The difficulty is to not blame Muslims, the same as we don't blame Christians for attacks against abortion clinics or Christians for the policies of countries such as Venezuela that force the victims of rape to give birth. 
We have to accept a hardening of our attitude towards intolerance from all sides by being tolerant of all views...that do not impede upon our own laws and culture.
Europe is a beacon for the world, a beacon for democracy (it's not the USA!). When we reintroduce the death penalty, shoot innocent people because of the colour of their skin, racially profile sections of our nations and restrict the right to pray to whatever imaginary god they want, and forget that we are all innocent until proven guilty, and have vigilante governments(the Philippines), the list goes on. We must stand for our right to be a free, fair and just continent.

In Honduras, if a woman has a miscarriage she is investigated, in one US State they only outlawed marrying an 11 year old...this week!!!

Women in Northern Ireland still have to travel to the UK mainland for an abortion!

I hear;British Muslims must stand up to  these attacks;
They are powerless to control Isis from their nice houses in Birmingham as we cannot stop the fuckwits that patrol Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam for little kids. We are hated in  countries(Asian ones especially) for our compatriots' behaviour. The Muslims in Birmingham are as far removed from Isis as we are to Gary Glitter of the youth that destroy whole areas of Spain. The whole of the US is not responsible for those that rape in Okinawa. It is up to governments to stop this shit, not Mr Patel at number 57.

We grew up with Muslims that would drink and eat bacon,as we were they not religious, like the Indonesians who by the way if we declare war on Islam will become so radicalised that we will have a never ever ending war. If we wage war against Islam, the war will move East and intensify. We must only wage war against Isis and other radicals with the emphasis that they are not really muslim. What Isis and Boko Haram do is against everything the Koran teaches and must be exposed for what it is....evil, pure evil.

You know I believe in a full ground war and occupation and if you had read what I sent earlier a restriction on mosques, Islamic schools and zero tolerance of Sharia Law.  Protect the innocent Muslims whilst weeding out the radicals. More must be done, but a war against Islam is not the answer and unworkable, would make Vietnam look like a garden party.

The year is 2525, colossal spaceships have been arranged to take human beings to Alpha Centuri and a very hospitable planet as the Sun is about to unleash a cataclysmic firestorm on the Earth, Mercury and Venus have already been destroyed. The British have lived in isolation for 400 years and are prone to throwing spears at passing aircraft as they have had no working electrical tools for 400 years, only Trident has kept Johnny foreigner off their shores. Eventually the World Council forces their way into London and find everyone speaking Cockney rhyming slang mixed with 2010s slang innit! After some time they persuade the British that they need to board the colossal ships, but at the last minute they refuse as they don't want to share the ship with any Polish, Romanians, or Arabs, little realising that such distinctions had ceased to have any meaning about 350 years ago. Mankind leaves, the British have a debate..

Here's what will happen with a Brexit; The UK economy will go into free fall on June 24th, it already has started to show signs. Every major financial institution will move to Paris within 6 months. We will continue on our fall. Every major corporation will move within a year, they need to be in the EU, not rocket science really. After 2 years the expats and the British  unemployed in Europe will begin to return as the Europeans leave the UK unless they earn more than £30 k per year as rules state NOW for non EU nationals. 3 years, there will be a severe shortage of plumbers and nurses, good luck getting your sink or colon unplugged. Europe will laugh at us.
The US, China and India will make us bend over backwards to do any kind of trade, we are the scum at the bottom of the pan for them, we have to beg them for anything, our credit line has been cut....we owe SO SO SO much the debtors begin knocking on the door.
Scotland and Wales will leave and join a union with Ireland, get off the Titanic really.
The number of illegal immigrants has increased 5 fold as The French have taken away their control of Calais ( this is a given) we are still controlled by UNHCR rules and so our hands are still tied. Luckily things get so bad by 2020 the refugees have long gone, who would want to stay in such a shit hole?  Riots begin again on British cities, streets burn as they have before,  but never like this. The French laugh.

#Brexit?

Myth 1. Exiting Europe will solve the refugee crisis. How? Since when has less cooperation helped anything? Britain takes hardly any to begin with, what may happen is that France and others may decide to let migrants cross their borders and let UK border patrol deal with them, with constant cuts to the UK border patrol, good luck with that!
Myth 2. Too many Europeans are a drag on the welfare system. EU migrants pay far far far more in tax than they get in welfare, wait until the 5m Brits living in Europe are forced to return home, then see a drag on welfare!
Myth 3. The UK pays £350m per week to Europe and this could be used to fund the NHS. That figure has been proven again and again to be absolutely false, it is £120m per week. Yes, that sounds a lot, but once you take away the farming subsidy and the EU grants for low income communities such as Birmingham, Glasgow, Liverpool and others it gets much lower. Also, do we want another Yugoslavia or Albania on our doorstep? European aid is used to help poorer areas, so that they don't become areas of despair and nationalism, this is done to protect us as well as help them. This aid will not stop whatever the outcome.  The Tories and the UKIP leader want to privatise the NHS, Farage has said this many times publicly, he is an ex city stockbroker after all!
Myth 4. Hitler invented the EU and our fallen soldiers will be turning in their graves. The EU was formed as the dust of 2 world wars settled as a way for Europeans to work together instead of fighting, which has worked absolutely, no EU member has ever fought another EU member. Both world wars were fought for the peace of the continent, the soldiers who gave their precious lives would have rested easy as we worked together peacefully for the last 40 years.
Myth 5. Britain will be economically better off. This is the biggest myth, the US and China and India have already stated that they will put the UK to the back of any trade deals a little like how Tesco deals with small suppliers, agree to our terms or sell elsewhere. The WTO deals were made with the EU as a block not with little England. The UK will need to renegotiate with Europe too and they will drive a hard bargain, why wouldn't they? Think Eurovision then you will have an idea how 27 Euro countries will treat any trade deals. The IMF, WTO, World Bank, The London School of Economics, The Economist, even The Bank Of England have strongly advised against the UK leaving, but Farage apparently knows better, doesn't  that worry you?
